Folsom Lake - the perfect lake spot for kids!
Folsom Lake is one of our families favorite summer spots! It’s a great spot to spend the day on those hot Sacramento days. We can spend all day here swimming on the inflatable toys and playing in the sand.
đź“ŤGranite Bay Main Beach
It doesn’t have an actual address. Type Anchored Eats into your maps & it will take you to the location.
Entry fee is $12, or you can use a valid California State Parks Annual Pass.
This beach is perfect for families because it has plenty of parking, easy beach access, it’s shallow with plenty of sand and has floating toys and kayaks available for rent and a snack shack located right in the beach serving a variety of delicious food.
Located right down on the beach is a snack shack called Anchored Eats. It is open 7 days a week 11am-7pm.
They also have rentals available 7 days a week starting at 11am. Items available to rent and pricing:
- Kayaks - single $15/tandem $20 per hour
- Paddle boards - $20 per hour
- Jumbo Float - $30 per hour
- Trampoline - $40 per hour
Life guards are on site and life vests are available.
Make sure to bring plenty of shade, water and sunscreen.
